Portrait Parties any time of the year!
HOSTESSES RECEIVE A FREE SESSION AND 5 DIGITAL FILES!!! (when 4 other sessions are booked.) Portrait parties bring together friends and family for affordable professional portraits taken in a relaxed, natural or studio environment. These sessions give everyone a custom portrait experience with VDIPhotography without the larger investment of a full custom session! Portrait Parties are great for people who: * Are on a budget but still want professional photos taken of their children or themselves or need updated photos of their kids * Have always wanted to try a “themed” session. *Want a fun way to bond with friends What is a Portrait Party? A portrait party is an event hosted in your home, a near by location, your church group, mom group or park where VDIPhotography will take professional portraits for you and your friends in 20 minute mini-sessions. How do they work? Portrait Parties are hosted by one person who provides the location, coordinates the guest list, schedules the sessions in 20 minute intervals and collects the fees. Hostess gets a free photo session and 8×10 Professional Print for hosting a VDIPhotography Portrait Party. Each guest pays a reduced-rate portrait fee of $75 which includes the following (note: Hosts get all this free!):
Sign me up! First, make a potential guest list. We require at least 4 people/families/groups to participate as guests in the parties with a maximum of 7. Discuss dates with your guests to see which dates will work best for all of you. Think of the best location (Spring & Summer sunshine make parks and backyards work lovely). Once your date is set you can put together an invitation however you would like- by postal, using Evites or by creating an event on Facebook . Things to think about… It’s All About FUN! Play with Themes Encourage your guests to bring hats, fairy wings, princess crowns, wonder-woman & superman outfits, bubbles, and any other props that they would like to use to make their photos memorable of their child’s unique stage of life. As wide open as your imagination! Here are some suggestions:
Tips for a Successful Host: Have snacks (it keeps the little ones busy who are waiting for their turn). You can provide snacks yourself or do it potluck style have everyone bring a little something to share. Schedule your guests’ sessions 20 min apart. Schedule them consecutively so there aren’t any gaps (i.e. 10, 10:20, 10:40, etc.). Let your guests know they aren’t required to stay the whole time. Follow up with your guests with reminders The only monies you are responsible for collecting is the initial fee ($75/guest). If guest want to order more prints, you can let them know they can order directly from me. And remember: As a hostess, you receive one 20 minute session complimentary along with an 8×10 Professional Print. In addition, you receive a $25 print credit for a full future session.
